It was such a successful Oktoberfest this year, and so many memories were made. Thank you to the amazing volunteers – we couldn’t have done what we did without you!
It was a great year working with the Alpine Club to bring the joint effort of Habsburg Haus to life, and we are looking forward to next year already! Now we hope everyone can get some rest after such an eventful week.
We are still looking for some people to fill some important rolls on the Oktoberfest schedule. If you are interested in joining our team, please take a look at the schedule to see if there are any positions that you may be able to fill.
To sign up for a spot on the schedule, please click on the highlighted “Habsburg Haus 2022 Volunteer Schedule” link below and fill your name in on the cell that you are interested in – the coloured cells indicate where people are required (the form will update automatically when you complete the cell – you do not have to save the document or send it back, simply close the document when finished) or contact Lori Crouse at email@example.com
We are so excited to join forces with the Alpine Club to host Family Day during Oktoberfest this year. Tickets are officially on sale, so bring your family out on Monday, October 10th after the Parade! Starting at 11:30, music will be played by Wildbahn, food has been made by both clubs and will be served, and we will have entertainment for each member of the family.
Tickets are on sale for $10, and you can purchase them by calling the office at 519.744.1191. Kids under 12 are free.
Established in 2022 – Habsburg Haus brings together a truly authentic Oktoberfest experience presented by the Alpine and Transylvania Clubs in Kitchener, Ontario.
You have SIX days to eat, drink and polka during Oktoberfest 2022. There is something for everyone – including the return of So You Think You Can Tanz.
The kitchen will be serving up our tasty and popular meals including schnitzel, sausage, cabbage rolls and other mouth-watering traditional options. New this year is the regular addition of Transylvania Club pig tails. As is tradition, one item you won’t want to miss is the apple strudel – handmade by Alpine Club members.
Be entertained by the music of Wildbahn as well as performances from our own Alpine Dancers and Transylvania Club Dancers as well as a variety of other dance groups throughout the festival.
Family Day is on the Thanksgiving Monday – bring out the family, kids, even grandkids – enjoy some fun and food, and treat the kids to balloon animals or face-painting while you catch up with friends.
Again, an event you should not miss is So You Think You Can Tanz – the friendly competition which started out as a way to showcase each dance group from the local German Clubs and turned out to be the busiest night of the festival – at any club.
Be sure to get your tickets early for any of our events. It is never to early to start planning your trip to Oktoberfest at the Habsburg Haus.
